Avoiding raw restaurant temptations?
Posted by: learningtofly ()

Hi,

I feel best and most clear on a 100% raw vegan diet with no salt or condiments. Right now I'm giving the low-fat, high fruit approach a try for the first time. However, I find that whenever I feel bored I start thinking about going to raw restaurants for a splurge. There may be an emotional component to this (likely). Any tips on how to resist this temptation?

Thanks.

In the 80/10/10 book by Dr. Graham, he says that your percentage over the week is what really counts, more so than the every day average. So...if you're keeping to 80/10/10 all week and spurlge one meal at a raw food restaurant, you should still be okay.
