mjhednrik:

I want to buy some, too but don't know much about it. What exactly do you order and how/how much do you take?

Thanks!

greenie,

I'm very imterested on herbs and other helat potions. Fo ti is one of the main herbs in my morning potions to increase my vitality.

About fo ti I know that it is very nutritious and it beefs up your vitality and long gevity.

As in all herbs and vitamins, moderation is the best. I can not say exact how much i use it daily because of the potion but I'm planning to use it in my green shake so about 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon per day may be a good way to start.

Hi,MH,

Thanks!
One question, botanicals.com sells it in slices. So does that mean you blend it into a powder and take 1/4-1/2 t per day?

I'm interested in Fo-Ti because of the promise of more vitality and restoring the hair color.

MH,

Did you notice when you ordered the FOTI from Botanicals.com that it comes in slices/chunks? You will need to pulverize it into powder to take it. Have you done that before?

I'm less concerned about the effects of FOTI (which I have known of for some time) than the practical details of how to take it.

Thank you for the link, by the way. I've been wanting to order Foti for a while but did not have a good source.

Thanks, MH. So do you boil it, drink the tea, or eat it or what?

i just soak it in water and blend it and drink it. it doesn't tast great, but not too bad, maybe you wouldn't notice it in smoothies.

I ordered some. I'm going to try to process it into powder in a coffee grinder and add it to smoothies.

You mentioned yours had a black resin. The Foti shown on the botanicals.com site looks dry. so hopefully it is not coated in anything. I'll let you know how it goes.
