for Forty Dollars I got... (pic)

all this organic fruit!! I went out to Cunningham organic farm in Fallbrook and got hooked up like never before. Those are cherimoyas and the best avocados in existence, the Reed. Consider that Cherimoyas cost $6 a pound at Jimbo's, and the biggest one weighs a touch under 4 pounds! I'm just so stoked on this and I didn't know who to share it with.

Behold

I love late-season Reeds. Best avo IMO.

Is Fallbrook in north San Diego county?

Wow.

I've never even seen a cherimoya, nor heard of a Reed avocado.

How could I ever be bored another second of my life ever again?

oh yes, don't get me started on the greatness of the Reed. I am going to start another topic about them soon.

I have heard that the Pinkerton has the best flavor, but I haven't had one yet, damn!

Fallbrook is like... northeast sd county. If you don't know where it is, I can assure you it is quite far away. I live in Del Mar and it was 100 miles round trip. The actual farm is super tricky to find, too! I was banging my little bmw around on all these dirt roads and no one has adresses on the street... jeez. You'll be happy if you can find it, George will sell to you wholesale. They are on localharvest.org
