making a dehydrator

At one time, I found a website describing how to build a dehydrator specifically for low heat raw food desires.

I've lost the link to this. Does anyone know where I can find information about making my own dehydrator?

I have to say, although I don't eat dehydrated stuff...if a friend of mine BUILT his/her own dehydrator from scratch...I would be so impressed I would deffinitely partake in their first creation...haha.

I found that site too, greenie. That one seems designed to dehydrate meats. I thought I found a design for fruits/veggies that was low heat.

Maybe its all the same. Use a thermometer and lower wattage bulb.
