Date: August 07, 2007 03:44AM Does anyone know of a place on the internet that has a list of seasonal foods according to location/time of year? Im interested in knowing what is seasonal in the Hudson Valley... thanks! Or, you could ask the produce manager at your local market what produce they buy from local growers. Re: Seasonal Food Directory?

Health food stores and smaller markets often buy more of the local produce than the big chain supermarkets. Edited 2 time(s). Last edit at 08/07/2007 05:31AM by suncloud. Re: Seasonal Food Directory?

Date: August 07, 2007 01:50PM I found a decent one in the 80-10-10 book. But even that, like most others, varies by location and what may or may not be imported. I'm somewhat close to you over in Ohio and found that living it year to year is best to learn what comes around, but it does vary year to year even still. Best bet as mentioned too, is checking with locals and asking them. Winters are an adjustment I'll admit. ( Re: Seasonal Food Directory?
