Funky Rob, (... or anyone ...) do you know where I can get nutritional info for various wild veggies? I’m especially interested in wild sorrel/dock, Thickhead (Crassocephalum crepidioide (Benth.) S. Moore – one I like quite a lot. It’s native to Africa but has become wild in Australia, and parts of East Asia), Mugwort, Comfrey, Chickweed, Henbit, Rocket, Asiatic pennywort (another one that I like and which Japanese and Germans are developing for some medicinal properties), and Shepherd’s Purse But there are others here that I don't have names for.

I’ll appreciate any help you can offer. I promise!
Troy.

I haven't found much nutrition data on wild foods. This is the best I have come across:

If anyone knows any better ones, please let us know...

Rob

If they're not marketable, who's going to analyse their nutritive values?

(sorry for the cynicism)

Thanks Rob. I didn't look very closely. I've downloaded it and will use it later. Really, thanks so much.

I have to agree, for the most part. But, hey, looks like someone has seen that it's worthwhile. Right on to the crazy fools!
