Hi Aquadecoco! My sweetie isn't 100% raw, tho for the past 2 years, he's become nifty at opening coconuts, takes more fruit to work, and embraces the logical reasoning for going mostly raw.

Applebaby, so nice that you have garden fresh kale.

Those were kale wraps with paté

Raw, unpasteurized miso soup with squash noodles and hand maki with fake tuna, zucchini, and carrots.

An assortment of raw foods including raw charoset, horseradish, matzoh, and gefilte fish. (And salad of course.)

Hi xxpeisi! There's a raw restaurant here, that makes "salmon salad", and they use walnuts, red bell pepper & kelp, all blended. Bet the "tuna" is simular.

Bring it, Darren! smiling smiley

I just soak and sprout sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds, then add some garlic, basil, dill (very important), dulse, and lemon. I've made it with sun dried tomatoes too, and that's pretty good. Just chuck it all into the food processor, and don't be afraid to go a little crazy with the lemon.

It tastes sort of like tuna. The dill, dulse, and lemon kind of give it that sort of taste, You can also make kind of tuna salad sandwiches by adding celery chunks and mustard and tomatoes and that kinda stuff.
Pretty awesome, really.

The flowers that Berlinpathos is using in the pictures are gorgeous! Where do you live? I've never seen flowers like those before.

Love,

Berlin :
Inspiring artistry smiling smiley I think there is great value in placing emphasis on presentation and that this adds value to our food. Kind of like putting a prayer over it, even if its only sentimental or aesthetic I think the good vibe aspect has got to count for something. I plan to get into this more !

Thanks guys!!

The only meat I honestly miss is fish. I never liked the taste of other meat, but fish was a favourite of mine and it is nearly impossible to mock (or so I thought). I will give the mock tuna a try. I really hope it turns out good!

Anyone have tips on a lighter version, without many nuts? I am trying to cut down on them, as winter is coming along and I seem to overdo all things nutty during the season.

thanks!!
xxpeisi

Coconutcream, tried to send you a PM but your mailbox is full...

here it is...

adjust the image size to your web version for posting and then adjust canvas size, use pixels and select black. very simple. Canvas size is what is going to give you your black frame, for example

if your image is 650x480

adjust your canvas size to 660x490 and that will give you 10 pixels all around for an even frame.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask!

Darren
