Photoshopped 'After' pics

Date: October 01, 2007 01:16PM I was showing some friends Raw websites and we were looking at Before and After-Going-Raw photos.
On the website of a woman who sells Raw coaching and promotional merchandise, we were struck by the obvious photoshopping of some After shots. If we readily noticed the doctoring, surely lots of people have. I wonder why someone would want to tell the internet world about the benefits of Raw only to be laughed at for enhancing their result photos by adding an inch or two to their torso and leg length. It's like 'the Emperor has no clothes'. Anyone who had played with photoshop would immediately see the signs in altered photos. (One of my pals works with photoshop and he mocked the amateurish effort.) I was dismayed, since it put into question the veracity of other people's testimonials and results. Not in my mind, but in everyone else's. Maybe it's only a middle-aged woman's vanity, or to encourage sales of her products and services, but I'm left wondering.......doesn't the integrity of Raw diet speak for itself? Date: October 01, 2007 06:16PM My computor is so slow, I can't even edit, so what you see is what you get, except for making it lighter or darker, contrast & auto-color. I have a few pics with a rash on my chin, from my bf's five-oclock-shadow, but I don't post them, because it looks live bad skin. Maybe I should. Re: Photoshopped 'After' pics

If true, maybe it could be a matter of brain/body connection. If the brain of the subject in the photo continually saw a yet to be slender 'after', it probably is/was their hope that with time it could materialize into a literal one. Wishing you vibrant health Re: Photoshopped 'After' pics

Date: October 02, 2007 01:57AM in the Renaissance they actually would paint a gold-leafed circle around people's heads.
some level of photo-shopping is just part of our society now.. for one: digital cameras do not capture color and light like traditional cameras do and thus some color work/histogram modification is actually quite necessary I can only guess what you mean..about obvious handiwork..which never does anybody any good lots of people certainly DO lie, about how healthy they feel or even are...Many people who are raw chefs or lecturers don't even practice what they preach (or know much about health or health crisis). That to me seems like more of an issue. If people want to put their best face forward..as a testimonial to being proud of their accomplishments...I say power to em' Just hire the right re-toucher! Date: October 02, 2007 02:32AM they actually don't look photoshopped as much as they look like the person put them into html and the html stretched the pic and the person didn't really know what to do with them once they were up there.
she still looks great.. and healthy and all that.. there is a picture of her face on another part of the site that isn't stretched... she looks vibrant. If anything the pics are to make her taller if there was an intended change rather than to make her look thinner. So I really think this is overblown. Re: Photoshopped 'After' pics
