Date: October 15, 2007 08:49PM I was experimenting mono dieting during the weekend. I made my first day just by eating grapes but the 2nd feel kind boring. However, I do enjoy the idea by just eating one kind of food. Can I do this on my 3 meals but differnt foods? Like banana for breakfast, kale for lunch and strawberry for dinner? Date: October 15, 2007 11:23PM I tried a mono-eating day a couple of weeks ago. I did bananas for 24 hours. I could not believe how great I felt and how much energy I had. I assume it is because my GI tract got a rest and all that extra energy was mine to have. I started at 4:00 pm the evening before and ended the next day when I had a salad around 6:00 pm. I actually did not feel as well after the salad as I had on bananas. I assume it is because I just put too much in my salad or too much dressing after that break.
I will next probably try it with apples which are great and abundant right now. Patty Re: does mono diet has to be the whole day or just 1 meal through a day?

Date: October 16, 2007 01:08PM Mono eating is a wonderful tool. One can eat single foods.....until full....and just wait for them to leave the stomach...before eating something else. So: eating one thing at a sitting/meal....and then one OTHER thing at the next meal....is certainly fine (in my opinion).
-Of course, mono-eating would be different than a mono-food fast.....where one is just eating grapes or something for 3 days straight. That CAN also be a tool for those who are seeking to detox in a less stressful way. -Just my opinions. -David Z. Mason WWW.RawFoodFarm.com Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
