So TCM says that someone with weak kidneys, spleen, pancreas, should not eat raw foods - That it will weaken them further. What do you guys think of this? Anyone have experience with having such a condition helped by raw foods.

Yes, Traditional Chinese Medicine discourages people from eating raw foods, especially if you have what they call a deficient spleen, meaning someone with a poor digestion. They think that unless someone is living in a very warm climate, raw food is bad for the digestive process.

I am new to raw foods, and I do have a deficient spleen, but so far, I find that eating raw foods is easier on my digestion than the cooked foods I used to eat. So, we'll see.
