My diet is about 70% home-grown(W/Love) Sprouts and 30% Raw Food.
-The sprouts varies from Almonds to Wheatgrass
The Raw food is mostly Green veggies(that I cant grow in my climate) and Low GI fruits.
-I use veggies such as carrots & beets for sweetness and my main stays of fruit are Apples, Cherry tomatoes, & Coconuts, young Thai.
All-in-all I say I consume, by weight, about 90% Greens(if you include sprouted Almonds) and 10% sweetfruits and other nuts, etc....
-Hope this helps

I was at 300 g (2/3 lb) of dark leafy greens per day, and just increased that to 600 g (1 & 1/3 lb) per day, and I feel fabulous! I had thought I was eating plently of greens (I did an analysis of vitamins and minerals and hit all my targets) and I was feeling fine, but wow, those extra greens still make a huge difference in how I feel!!!! I'm really just blown away by the difference. Now I feel protective of my extra greens and don't want to do without them smiling smiley By calories, that's about 17%.

Here's my recipe:

- 300 g of kale, bok choi, or dandelion (14.5% by calories)
- 300 g of spring mix (usualy has about a dozen or so different types of green leaves) (2.5% by calories)

My greens are spread across 3 green smoothies/soup recipes for the day, plus one last meal of my choosing. I also find that the tender, young, sweet greens (i.e., the spring mix) are much, much easier to incorporate into the diet than the tougher greens such as kale, so if you're trying to increase your greens, spring mix, spinach, young greens, etc., are the way to go. In fact, I barely notice when I add 100g of them to a fruit smoothie.

Figuring out how much greens to eat has very been important to me. As a rawfoodist, I not only want to meet the RDAs, but surpass them by a long shot, as evidence shows that primative peoples ate 2-10x the RDA of many vitamins and minerals. I hope to increase my green intake even further (maybe to 2 lbs a day). A lot of people have influenced me in eating more greens--including Dr. Doug Graham, Victoria Boutenko, Frederica Patenaude, etc.--but most recently, I've been inspired by Nature Love (see www.welikeitraw.com) and Raw Model (www.rawmodel.com), and they both eat an insane amount of greens.

Best Wishes smiling smiley

I am guessing it's about 10% greens and other vegetables, around 10% non sweet fruits, about 15% nuts, seeds, fatty fruit, 40% or more sweet fruit, about 10% cooked beans, and the rest is alcohol from fermented cooked grains.
