Problems with digestion?

I recently went raw and since have noticed that my digestion has slowed down. Has anyone else had that problem when they started? I'm not sure if I just shocked my system, or maybe I'm eating too many nuts or what. Any feedback/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Yes, I had that problem. It went away for me after a couple of months. I just waited it out. You will be feeling tip top soon!

My digestion was always slow and I consumed a lot less than anyone else around me, but I was the largest out of anyone else. :-( When I went raw, I still wasn't able to consume a lot because of my slow digestion. However, I can now consume more than double the amount of food that I used to eat!! Eating raw has helped me. Stick with it and I'm sure you'll see marked improvement the longer you are raw.

I have recently noticed that I have been digesting much better than I ever have, and it's been 6 months raw. It is great to know that I stuck with it even though I know some raw foods are harder to digest than others.

Do know what your fat intake is as a percentage of calories? I find that if I eat more fats, my digestion slows down.

Also, are you chewing your food enough? Chewing more will make a difference.

2 weeks after I reduced my intake of fat calories, my digestion greatly improved. (i pretty much eliminated nuts and "raw" bars from my diet)

i was going to say the same as Bryan -
chewing really helps. Don't eat too fast, and reduce how much saturated fats you consume - and then all fats in general.
