will magic bullet work for making green smoothies?

Date: December 30, 2007 04:33PM Just wondering if a magic bullet is powerful enough to make green smoothies/drinks with added fruit. I have a blender but since I am only making them for myself (fiance and kids not into it, yet! I don't want to waste any. I keep hearing about vitamix but wow- sooo expensive! I plan on using spinach, kale, chard, etc. and am hoping that this little "blender" will be sufficient! Any of you tried one with your green drinks?
Sincerely, Joanna Re: will magic bullet work for making green smoothies?

There is a post I started about this in the Blenders/Juicing forum from 12/4 called "Can't Afford a Vitamix Ever Tried Magic Bullet?" Info in there should be helpful. Based on this I decided against purchasing one. If I did this correctly, this link should take you to the page (I hope): [url}[www.rawfoodsupport.com][/url] If the link doesn't get you there, just go to the Blenders/Juicing Forum and scroll down to near the bottom of the page.
