There are a handful of "notable" vegan martial artists - I googled this one day while discussing the raw, vegan diet with an MA enthusiast who doesn't think that vegans can handle impact sports.

Interesting that the comments made by these vegan "fighters" include faster healing and recovery time - though not surprising.

Sorry that I can't remember any names...just google "notable" MMA athletes and see what pops up.
