Anyone here tried to color hair blonde with henna?

Date: February 07, 2008 01:16AM Just wondering if this works... want to start using henna but most say they don't think that one can do blonde color with henna..??? When I went to check out the henna products, however, they do sell a "blonde" henna??? Any ideas or experiences with using the blonde henna product?

Date: February 07, 2008 01:32AM I used to be a heavy henna user. Blonde henna will give your hair a nice shine and will bring out blonde highlights, but it will not actually make your hair any lighter. Only ammonia or peroxide will do that. ;-) Re: Anyone here tried to color hair blonde with henna?

Date: February 07, 2008 01:41AM Yea, blond Henna doesn't dye you're Hair , it just highlights already blond Hair and makes it shine. If you bought a Henna Color, it might be a color with some Henna in it, because real Henna is a Powder that almost smells like spinach.

Date: February 07, 2008 02:54AM You might try lemon juice and sitting out in the sun, and or do that and go to the beach and swim in the salt water and let your hair get bleached out to as light as a color as your natural will go.
