Date: February 11, 2008 08:45AM Valentine's day is coming up. Here are some ideas to make it a great one.
1) give your special other a beautiful fruit melange ensemble ( in the form of a nicely crafted fruity luscious dessert ( see rawdanceruk food photos for ideas 2) make it in the shape of a heart 3) put flower petals on it 4) and VOILA!! u will be loved for life yes life is so simple just a simple raw dessert... that is all that it takes Re: SWEET VALENTINE'S DAY

Date: February 11, 2008 11:04PM I spent all day wondering about what to do for the boyfriend, too. ~.~ Duh!
He's very rebellious, and since I'm raw, sometimes he'll refuse things just for that reason--but nothing can keep him away from the desserts. MUAHAHAH~! I've been trying to cut back on the nuts, though--if I wanted to make a crust for a pie, does anyone have ideas? Sprouted grains? Or at least soaked nuts, maybe? Petals are a lovely idea. It's interesting to think about why flowers and such are so romantic and inviting, if you're thinking with a raw/back to nature/primitive mind... Re: SWEET VALENTINE'S DAY

Date: February 12, 2008 06:38AM umm.. i'm thinking you can use those pasty dates and sprinkle it with coconut shavings for a crust
for the filling u can layer banana with fruit and then top the top with kiwi, strawberry, orange slices... it will look pretty too and you can sprinkle it with nasturtiums ( edible flower petals) also you can make the border alternate with blackberry and raspberry and plus make it in the shape of a heart oh yeah... forgot... cacao mixed in the date to make it chocolatey ( if u want chocolate in there) u don't have to put nuts in there if u don't want it Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
