Date: February 14, 2008 03:30AM What brand do you use??
The kind I see at most stores is not raw- it doesn't say so on the can (an orange and white can). I don't have time usually to make it myself but I want to buy some that is raw. Can anyone tell me what kind to look for that is 100% raw with no added oil? Thanks. =D Re: Where to find RAW tahini

If you are using the tahini for sauces and dressings, you might consider just grinding some sesame seeds in a coffee grinder. Its pretty quick, and not much clean up, and you get a pretty good results in the sauces. Re: Where to find RAW tahini

Date: February 16, 2008 07:58PM Is tahini not made from shelled sesame seeds? Then you would miss out on the calcium which is lost with the shells. Re: Where to find RAW tahini

Hope that helps. HOW RAW CAN YOU GO haaha Re: Where to find RAW tahini

Date: February 18, 2008 05:19PM I can't remember the brand(sorry!) but both of the Whole Foods by my house have raw tahini, raw almond, cashew, and walnut butter. They are delicious! Good luck! Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
