Hi all

Have just discovered Fitday...how cool is that!!!

I seemed to be really low on zinc and niacin...while we've been talking a bit lately about availability of vitamins on raw vegan does anyone know how I can improve my intake of these?

Thanks

Claire

Actually, have just found the nutrient search tool on nutridiary.

Mushrooms
Parsley
nuts/seeds
sprouts

and since I am not 100% raw, dried apricots look pretty good too!

I have heard that if foods are dehydrated properly at a temperature of 115f or below they are still considered raw. That said some commercial dehydrators dry the foods at much higher temperatures so you either need to do it yourself so that you have control of the process or buy already dried food with caution.
