Claire you will love them once they have ripened! Tastes like a cross between a banana and a berry!

Oooh! Aaaah! I'll be looking for these. How do you know when they've ripened?

My co-op has been carrying these for the last few months too and they are great. I've stopped buying them when they're rock hard, though, because they never ripen well and I end up wasting them. I've just been leaving them on the kitchen counter to ripen. Could I be doing it in a better way? Does anyone have any tips?

hey frances, if you put them in a brown paper bag with an already ripe (or overripe) banana, that will kick the ripening process into high gear.
