first raw soup

Date: March 04, 2008 01:51AM I just made my first raw soup: 2 cucumbers, 1 cup soaked cashews, 1 clove garlic, 1 cup of water in the blender and some chives chopped on top. It's quite nice! I'm suprised how much I like it! Very easy to do and I'm looking for alternatives to chewing and chewing big salads. I'm hoping to get some success with soups using a wider variety of vegetables, especially different colours which I believe is important. Re: first raw soup

Date: March 04, 2008 11:33AM grayzie - i've had the same experience with any soup containing nuts. it might taste good at first, but winds up being inedible. also wreaks havoc with the tummy. Re: first raw soup

Date: March 05, 2008 03:19AM Is there any texture to the soup? Like corn kernals, avacado chunks, etc? I haven't made any yet, but am planning to do a gazpacho tomorrow - kind of soupy, right? I am looking forward to more recipes! Re: first raw soup

Date: March 05, 2008 03:41AM VF, sometimes i blend all ingredients if i want it creamy style, and sometimes i just blend some ingredients and dice others for chunky/gazpacho-style. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
