I just mad almond butter on my champion juicer and while I was doing it, I noticed that the almond paste was warm when it came out.
My question for all of you is, is it still raw?

Thanks

I don't think it gets too hot.

i noticed that mine used to get warm, but never hot. never above body temp really. so still raw.

it was close enough for me while i ate almond butter- esp if you're able to find truly raw almonds...

peace-

The cut-off temperature for raw is 118*F, isn't it?

How did you make it with your champion juicer? I must have done something wrong when I did it - made alot of noise and I was worried I would wreck the blades.

I have wanted to make almond butter in my juicer but wasn't sure how. Does it come out like in the stores?

You need a juicer that has a blank plate--for homogenizing. If it's a cheap juicer, it won't have it. No, it's not as creamy as at the store.

I have a great juicer. It has a homogenizing screen. I really wantr to start making it at home because the kids love it and I would prefer to use sprouted almonds. Thanks for this thread.

how do you make almond butter with a champion juicer? I have been wanting to make some for a while now and did not think of using my champion juicer, just assumed one needed a good blender.

I put the blank plate into my juicer but its hard to make it. I have to press down on the almonds with force and still it doesn't come out creamy or pasty, it comes out in crumbs, which is weird, because Paste actually builds up in the opening instead of coming out where it's supposed to.
Any tips?

Add oil or water to make a paste.
