Date: March 08, 2008 02:09PM I never ate fish as an omnivore, but I like seaweed. I think it took me a while to like it, though, due to reasons you mentioned, Arug, the smell. My friend Rich is an omnivore who eats fish here and there but eats mostly plant-based, but he salivates at the thought of seaweed. I think it's great because it's like drinking fresh water and eating fish is like drinking sewer water. Re: Seaweed Salad?

Date: March 08, 2008 02:53PM Usually the seaweed salas has crn syrup in it - if you go to asian markets and find a label in enlgish you can almost always find a wacky ingredient.
Another wierd one is aspratame in pickled ginger. And formaldehyde. Re: Seaweed Salad?

Date: March 08, 2008 04:55PM The seaweed salads you get at restaurants almost always have sugar or corn syrup or artificial coloring in them! Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
