Wild Crafted Tibetan Goji Berries
Posted by: Simple Living ()

I found some of these odd little berries at my co-op, from a company called The Raw Choice (www.therawchoice.com)

Has anyone tried these? They taste... unusual.

I haven't tried that particular brand of goji berries, but when I did try them years ago, they tasted unusual to me also.

I used to like them but then ate too many and got tired of them.

A friend sent me some. I thought they tasted old and stale. I much prefer fresh berries.

I would love to taste a fresh one, instead of the sun dried ones.

hi you all,

I like goji berries so much, they are so expensive
so I bought some of the tibetan ones and planted about 30 of them in a container on my window
they came up!!!
they are now two inches tall, dozens of them since each berry appears to have many little seeds in them, each came up in a cluster
I can't wait to plant them in separate containers soon!!!

I don't think you can eat fresh, SL, because they crumble when touched by hands (or so I heard).
