very comprehensive info. all vegan but not 100% raw. although many of the recipes he gives you the way to make it raw. i love it and have made many of the recipes which have been delicious. if you can find it in your local library definitely check it out. i bought it on a whim and glad i did. great info for athletes(brendan is a hard core runner/triathlete) hope this helps, brooke Re: The Thrive Diet book

Date: March 21, 2008 10:29PM I used his powder supplement (Vega) for some time a few months ago when I was eating "naughty vegetarian". His company was really helpful when I had some questions. I am sure it was not all raw, but I knew of his interest and respect for the raw lifestyle. He also has lectured at raw restaurants, so has an affinity for it. Re: The Thrive Diet book

Date: March 22, 2008 12:42AM Its a decent book, I liked it alot. He tends to disregard food combining in his recipes (ie mixing fruit with other things) which my constitution disagrees with. Eating fruits by themselves is one of the best things Ive done for myself. Re: The Thrive Diet book
