Date: March 29, 2008 02:29PM I'm sure this has been discussed many times before, but
I just ordered some Sea Vegetables from [www.seaveg.com] Does anyone here eat them on a regular basis? I'm going to try small amounts in my afternoon Green Smoothie. I use to eat Dulse right out of the bag, but felt it was too salty......WY Re: Sea Vegetables

Date: March 29, 2008 02:45PM We do. Mostly my 12 and 3 year olds. They eat wakame in soup a couple times a week or more. I was eating it a lot but then all of a sudden it was way too fishy for me. Then I went through a dulse kick. Eating it everyday and then that became too fishy. Weird how tastes change. Re: Sea Vegetables

Date: March 29, 2008 05:10PM I used to eat dulse regularly. It was necessary for me to rinse it thoroughly to remove the dried salt on the dulse. Re: Sea Vegetables

Date: March 29, 2008 06:33PM I crave it rather systematically with my monthly cycle. I have a few days where I could EASILY eat a pound at a time (sometimes I do!).
It's good for us. =) Re: Sea Vegetables

Date: March 30, 2008 01:38AM I bought some yesterday (Seaveg brand) and I'm eager to eat some right now! I tried it right off the bag after buying it but it was way too hard, I'll let some in a glass of water for a bit before eating.
What are the other benefits of seaweeds? Should we eat them in a controlled amount? I wasn't interested in eating that but I now am. Re: Sea Vegetables
