PROTEIN and CALCIUM in fruits and veg

OK-- a commonly asked question: how do I get enough protein and calcium?

I basically know for my body weight of approx 50kg, I need approx 15 to 40gr of protein. Too many raw foodies count on nuts and seeds which are high in calories.

Does anyone know if there is a any publication or journal on the protein count in fruits and vegetables?

I know, deep green leafy vegetables has good calcium count. I have been told many times on the general principle.

But how much, for example in this case, in kale?

Thus I am searching for a scientific matrix/ scale.

In order to propell the living foods as a valid scientific lifestyle, we need more scientiifc data.

I don't use science in my raw food eating as much as I do a trust in God. I am comfortable that everything I need is in the the foods God made and provided for us to eat. Instead of scientific tables I use God's table.

It also depends on who you talk to about "how much" you actually need. The answers are really varied to a large degree. Do the research and form your own opinion in the end. Remember though, when living a raw life you are in a different grouping far as needs, etc. than the charts and tables that are out there. But then again, through your research, you may come to disagree. Hence, it's your final thoughts that count. :O)

I meant kale for protein, but yes, it has good amounts of calcium as well. All fruits and vegetables have enough protein provided you are getting enough calories.

This protein issue I struggle with alot.
As someone who formerly had two protein shakes and a handful of amino acid capsules every day years ago for bodybuilding.

Enter your food on nutrition data, it really is a good site. On an average day I get from 45-50g of protein and I dont eat that many nuts. Also I usually get 800+ mg of calcium with no supplements.

Also fresh orange juice is a good source of calcium!

Sprouts. Rice sprouts are considered a complete protein unlike rice grains. (I think I read it somewhere anyways).
