I found that since going all fresh raw my tastes for fresh raw foods have steadily changed. I now appreciate the taste of fresh raw foods that I previously didn't care for. Check back with your body occasionally and see if you can put greens (spinach is my favorite) into green drinks etc. Good luck. Re: Enzymes

Date: April 14, 2008 08:10PM I noticed my tastes have been improving phenomenally. About two months in, I checked back with my Arch Nemesis Celery. Still couldn't touch him...
I'm into my fourth month, now, and I tried celery again the other day--DELICIOUS! Like I wasn't properly tasting the water content with the strong "celery" flavor, it's not really something I can describe. But it tastes clean and refreshing, as opposed to belligerent, which is something I couldn't perceive before. Amazing!! In any case, I'm still waiting for the bitter greens taste to return to me, as well. I had a 6-week greens binge after being completely debilitated by antibiotics (pre-raw going into raw), but once I got past that, I never got back into the bitter greens again. Even green smoothies make me want to puke. I think part of the taste mystery has to do with internal cleanliness/healed palette, but the other part has to do with what the body needs. Fascinating!! The moral of the story, it's always important to check back with yourself, keep eating the rainbow, the whole rainbow, because we might need different colors at different times. It's fun to see new colors, too. =) Re: Enzymes

Date: April 15, 2008 04:13PM Thanks for all the responses to my questions..
What I find interesting right now is that I can eat a vegetable like celery raw in stick form, with or without a dip, with no digestive repercussions..But juice the celery, or put it into a smoothie??..No way!!..Stomach & brain want no part of it!!.. So I will continue to listen to my body..And, every month or so I'll go back & see how my body reacts to the foods that it's currently telling me to have no part of.. Thanks again, Bruce Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
