question about starch

According to raw food explained com we cannot digest starch completely and so I wonder what happens to starch after juicing? Does pumpkin or carrot and etc. juice contain any starch? What about banana juice (cream)?

We cannot digest starch completely? We might not assimilate all of the starch we consume but starch itself is completely digestible. Why else would nature have given us the ability to produce an enzyme called amylase whose only purpose is to digest starch?

But that doesn't answer your questions. Pumpkins, carrots, and bananas all contain starch. Juicers leave mostly fiber behind in the juicing process. So I would say that the juice of these items most certainly does contain starch. What percentage of the original starch content would depend on the item being juiced and the quality of the juicer...
