strange feeling in throat

Hi guys,

I know this is not a medical site. Just curious if any of you know it.

One night, I slept with the windows open (around 10 days back) and it got slightly chilly. So in the morning I woke up with what seemed like a sore throat. I expected it to go away or that I would catch a cold. No such thing happened.

So now I am stuck with the uncomfortable feeling that there is something in my throat area. When I swallow, it is slightly painful. The feeling is around the back left area. And it doesn't go away. I have had this for the past 10 days and am wondering what it is.

Thanks.

Opinion: It sounds like you have an infection or allergic inflammation of that area. Eat healthily and lightly...or fast. If the condition does not remedy or you are concerned about it, please see your health care professional immediately.

Thanks David.

I typically don't go to doctors or take medication. I always had things go away on their own. So this is why I am slightly concerned as it hasn't vanished in 10 days. Let me wait for a few more days and see.

Also, as far as I know, I do not have any allergies. Pollen etc never bothered me.

Theoretically, the body does its housework while you are sleeping, and fresh air can be healing.

I water fasted for one day, got the same thing--odd sensation in my throat--and then had a dripping sinus nightmare for almost two weeks! The good news is, I'm better now, and quite visibly a lot was removed from my head. =)

I like this way of thinking. Just wait it
out. I'd be drinking Water and Juices to help with the
Cleansing and Healing.
Looking into my Crystal Ball, I see you're going to be
just fine......and stay away from Doctors.....WY

i have heard that when the tonsils are inflamed it is like a defense mechanism from infection. don't know if it's true, that's just what i have heard and i have heard it more then once (from different people of course).

i seem to get a sore throat when i eat some inorganic fruits. one time i had one while fasting.

you know what seems to help? carrot spinach juice. i don't know why, it just does. helps me anyway.

when i get something icky my tonsils are the first to react.
