Date: October 09, 2008 06:26PM I want to drink smoothies for lunch and they don't hold up from morning until noon. I want to bring a blender to work, but they are SO noisy.... I feel better if I drink my fruit instead of eating it. WendySmiling in Oklahoma www.16weeks2health.blogspot.com 12/17/10.......240/155/125 Re: Would You Bring A Blender To Work?

Date: October 14, 2008 05:26AM On the occasions I carry beverages such as smoothies, I either add ice or prepare them with frozen fruit and carry it in an insulated container such as a small thermos. This way hours later when I'm drinking it, the will still be chilled Re: Would You Bring A Blender To Work?

Date: October 14, 2008 04:47PM I find that my smoothies don't oxidize as quickly if they have a higher quotient of liquid. It reduces the air pockets, which reduces the oxidation, which allows me to store them much longer before drinking. Lately, apples are finally in season and I have been adding unpasteurized apple cider to my smoothies to get that liquid boost. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
