Date: September 09, 2007 09:41PM Does anyone juice broccoli? I read one resource that says to steam it first. Does it need to be?
I tried searching the archives here and didn't find anything on the topic. Any insight one could offer is appreciated. Thank you. Patty Re: Juicing Broccoli

I never steam Broccoli I juice it raw. I also add raw Broccoli whole as well as broccoli juice to my fruit smoothies as its fairly tasteless in small quantities. Broccoli has a lot of anti cancer properties and is one of the best vegetables you can eat. It is regarded as a superfood by many. Re: Juicing Broccoli

Not sure if I would drink too much of it as the major ingredient in a drink...but mixed with carrots, tamatoes, lemon, beets, celery, and spinich...its delicious! Re: Juicing Broccoli

Date: September 16, 2007 10:47AM Broccoli would make a good ingredient in a Green Smoothie. So would Brussel Sprouts. I wouldn't juice either one......WY Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
