Help!! I'm going backwards.

Date: October 19, 2008 04:05PM I was surfing eBay a couple of days ago and saw an Omega 8001
(new in box) for sale. Omega quit making the 8001 many years ago (I'm guessing 10. Bruce would probably know for sure). The newer 8002's and 8003's (of which I have one) have a dual-stage screen. The single-stage screen of the 8001 is similar to the Samson 6in1, which has been around a long time. Anyway, I just had to bid for the 8001, and I won it. It will be fun juicing Celery in both my juicers for a comparison. By the way, does anyone here own a Solo-Star II by Tribest? If so, how do you like it?......WY Re: Help!! I'm going backwards.

Date: October 19, 2008 06:49PM Nice. I don't have a juicer YET but when I get one I am thinking about an Omega 8001
How much did you pay for it? I see one on Eeebaay now, lightly used, missing the collection bowls, and that is $109, is that a decent price? TIA for your opinion! Re: Help!! I'm going backwards.

I just checked eBay and couldn't find it. It all depends on how used it is. It sounds like it was neglected if it's missing the collection bowls.....WY Re: Help!! I'm going backwards.

Date: November 20, 2008 05:32PM My Breville Juice Fountain Plus was only $150 at BedBath&Beyond and it is the BEST investment I have EVER made besides buying my Vitamix TurboBlend 4500 (which I bought off eBay from an authorized retailer for $300!
Breville makes an even a more expensive one but the one I own is SO SIMPLE, SO EASY TO CLEAN, & EXCELLENT QUALITY!! Thanks to everyone on this forum (for their advise, info & research) I own the 2 best kitchen appliances and working on my 3rd - Breville Citrus Press (my hand & wrist are extremely tired of hand juicing!) : ) Re: Help!!
