What to Buy?

Date: January 12, 2009 08:52PM This has probably been asked a thousand times but I didnt see much in the past few months. I am brand new to this site and new to this life style. After a health scare its time to eat right.
I am looking to get a juicer and will most likely be juicing fruits and vegetables to include green leafy. So question number 1 is what juicers are good for doing both fruits and vegetables? Secondly, I am interested in doing smoothies so I assume I will need a good blender as well. Any suggestions on this? I am determined to do this so I am not interested in something to experiment with as a newbie. I am looking for quality products that will be used daily. Thanks, TW Re: What to Buy?

the Vita-Mix 5000. You could probably find used ones on eBay at reasonable prices......WY Re: What to Buy?

Date: January 13, 2009 01:27AM Thanks for the reply WY. You gave me some good suggestions to start my search. I have done some comparisons on the net now and it looks like I will take both of your suggestions. I dont see how I can go wrong with either one of those.
Now for the fun and games of finding what vegetables I like the best and a good assortment of recipes I like that I wont get bored with. If anybody has any favorite sites they would like to share I would love to hear about them. Good health to all, TW Re: What to Buy?
