a single individual (maybe even the same one). I've looked at the AcmeEquipment website, and found their prices very high (like over $1000 for a Vita-Prep 3). They do offer a wide selection. I'll guess, from the quality of their website, that they're owned by another company, not an individual....WY Re: Who owns these

I got my Vitamix 4500 at this place for a reasonable cost, with manufacturer warranty: [coolshinystuff.com] They're a small family-owned company in Pennsylvania, I believe. Delivery was very swift, and their customer service was good. Don't know if they're raw foods people, but I do know they were professional. Blind Guru's videos and website tracts make me apprehensive of dealing with that company for some reason, so I looked elsewhere. Re: Who owns these

The business model of acme is not to sell retail, but rather to sell to retailers, focusing on sales volume. The last two are from an individual who has fallen into disrepute, according to some people. You can find plenty of comments related to that.
