Rawie,
thanks so mcuh for your reply, sounds possible. What is the benefit of drinking a lot of carrot juice, versus, say, green juices or fruit/green mixes?

My personal experience is that carrot juice is 10 times more palatable than green juices (unless of course you're combining fruit and greens, which can be quite delicious) and they also have a lot of calcium and other minerals and vitamins.

I have been reading a lot of great stuff about carrot juice in norman Walkers book on Raw veggie juices. Blood builder, purifier, strngthens the liver, helps detox and immunity etc. Wondering about the glycemic index of it, though, and high sugar content. Do you do any greens at all?

I just had cellery, apple, pear ginger lemon. YUMM!

And I mushed up a peach in my greenstar. It comes dripping out everywhere except for out of the chute, haha! Two peaches yielded 2 drops of peach nectar.... The solostar is much better for the mushy stuff than the Green Star.

Have a juicy day smiling smiley

Kwan....Careful!!! Were going to see what you really
look like if you keep changing your picture. It tells me you're
liking the way you're looking on your Juice Fast.
Maybe we should all post our pictures. LOL....WY

You are right, kwan, carrot juice is super yummy! Do you have Jamba Juice in your area? THey make fresh squeezed OJ and carrot, or, - YUMM - mixed OJ and CJ. I really like the treat of not having to juice myself, hehe. The Power size is actually a really good deal (5$) for that huge thing (30 ounces)...

not organic, though

And my experience has been that Juice bought
at a Juice Bar is not as sanitary as what you prepare at
home....but I'm picky. Many times they don't even wash the
Carrots....WY

Indeed, I should be washing organic ones even I suppose.

I seem to recall you use baby carrots WY, are these nutritionally the same as the larger?

I don't trust many places to prepare my juices/smoothies, you must ask, one place gave me a yoghurt and sugar and flavor laced smoothie, it tasted quite artificial.

Usually not as sanitary, but also, the energy that goes into it, the quality of the produce, and on.

You have me confused with someone else.

It's easy, but I'm always disappointed when I have
juice 'out', or out of a bottle.
