Can you juice greens other than wheatgrass?

Date: April 25, 2009 10:18PM I'm following the juice feasting thread and thinking how the one thing I would miss is greens. I'm into green smoothies. If you were going to juice greens, I assume that would be best done with a different type of juicer than works for harder stuff (carrots, celery, beets, apples...)
Anyone juice much greens? Using what (blender and type of greens). Thanks. Re: Can you juice greens other than wheatgrass?

A single- auger, or twin-gear, is Best for juicing Greens. A Centrifugal is Best for juicing root vegetables. But, of course, there are different opinions....WY P.S. What kinds of things would you ideally put into a Omega 8006? (Please don't say a cell phone. That was the dumbest Internet video ever and didn't make me want to buy the blender! ha ha) I'm loving my Blendtec and drinking lots of green smoothies but hoping to be able to buy a juicer in the fall. I've got a super small kitchen and even if I could afford two juicers, my housemate would not appreciate my stuff taking up our precious space. Thanks again. The initial production, late in 2008, sold out very quickly...it is such a good juicer. They are now back in production to meet the demand. Date: April 28, 2009 09:08PM I HAVE A JUCING TRICK FOR FINE GREENS LIKE PARSELY......CELANTRO.........WHEATRGASS..............I WET A LARGR ROMAINE LETTUCE AND PLACE THE FINE GREENS ALSO WET........INTO THE CENTER OF THE ROMAIN LETTUCE LEAF AND ROLL IT UP THE LONGWAY............THEN I PUT IT THROUGH MY CHAMPION...........IT GOES THROUGH MORE QUICKLY WHEN THE COMBO IS LONG AND THIN AND WET.............
HAVE HAD CHAMPIONS FOR A LONG TIME............NOT MADE FOR WHEATGRASS BUT THE WAY I DO IT WITH THE ROMAIN LETTUCE IT WORKS OUT...............I HAVE A GREEN POWER FOR FINE GREENS BUT TOO MUCH TROUBLE TO CLEAN..THE CHAMPION IS EASIER..............I LEAVE IT ON MY COUNTER.
