Date: November 27, 2009 01:30AM Looking for BLACK FRIDAY sales for Vita-Mix anywhere if anyone knows of any. =) Still haven't bought mine (due to the need to "re-distribute my wealth" to another financial need after selling my GS juicer *LOL*), but now in the market for sure and didn't want to miss out on any possible black Friday sales. =) ***************************** "Educate and inform the whole mass of the people... Date: November 27, 2009 03:15AM Thanks. =) I'm having such a hard time trying to decide between these 2 models:
* 5200 Model (2hp) Reconditioned - $379 / 8 Yr warranty * VitaPrep 3 Model 1005 (3hp) - $475 / 3 Yr warranty My gut instinct tells me to get the VitaPrep 3 model and be done with it, but just want to make the wisest investment for the cost. *sigh* ***************************** "Educate and inform the whole mass of the people... Date: November 27, 2009 06:42AM I had the same problem; I was back and forth between the VP3 and the 5200 for almost a year. In the end I went with the VP3 and am very pleased with it.

Date: November 27, 2009 06:28PM I think I will go with the VP3. It is stronger, better made, and more versatile. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
