What grasses can be grown at home?

I am getting ready to order my first juicer and I am very excited about starting to add wheatgrass in to my diet. I have not searched my area yet but I live in a rural area so there is not much in the way of health food places so I have a feeling that I will be limited to ordering wheatgrass seed off the internet. I was wondering what other grasses might be good juiced and especially stuff that might be easier to find and less expensive. Also, are feed stores an ok alternative for buying seed to plant for juicing? I really want to make these positive changes in my life but as it seems, most things that are good for you are very expensive and when working with a limited budget it is difficult to live/eat healthy.

Pea greens, sunflower greens, alfalfa, broccoli sprouts, kamut, lentil sprouts, mung beans. Stay away from buckwheat greens as they are toxic though sprouted buckwheat with a short sprout is delicious. Some resources on where to buy and how to grow.

[www.kgardener.com] good source of seeds
[www.homegrownharvest.com] good source of grains, beans and seeds. Has raw sproutable oats.

If you are going to be in a rural area, learn to forage for wild edibles - free is best! smiling smiley

I grow buckwheat and find nothing wrong with it.
In one of Ann wigmores books she names the top 7 or 10 grasses.
I am about to try all of these. Wheat, barely, oats, rye, spelt, kamut, quinoa, teff, aramanth
peas, sunflower, alfalfa, lentils not grasses but are good too.

"# Buckwheat greens are toxic when raw, particularly if juiced or eaten in large quantities by fair-skinned individuals. The chemical component fagopyrin is known to cause severe photosensitivity and other dermatological complaints.[33]"
