Problems After Juicing
Posted by: Anonymous User ()

I have been juicing for a week now and have constipation.
I have been juicing cucumbers, Kale, Celery. Spinach,
and a small amount of carrot and apple. I am wondering if too many green veggies that have a lot of iron in them could be causing the constipation.
since I am diabetic I don't add avery of the sweeter veggies/fruit.
Has any one heard of too much iron from juicing causing constipation?

have you been straining all of the pulp out of your juice? it might be something as simple as just needing more fiber, so maybe try including more of the pulp, or eating a few fruits or veggies that are high in fiber per day... possibly right after your juice...

Hi Ris,
I've been smoothing (can I say that?) and juicing for 3 weeks now and I always do an enema at least once a week. I believe that with all the liquid the body gets in a process of cleaning and the fastest way to clean is to do an enema or a colonic.

im wondering if you arent mistaking constipation for lack of volume .. if you are juicing with no fiber there is not gonna be a whole lot of matter to expel (im trying to be as polite as possible lol)
