Date: October 11, 2006 06:32PM I have the greenstar and a friend has the Breville 1000W.
The Greenstar is much better at green leaves and the like which I juice a lot it also does hard veg really well. Its bad at fruit though even with the fruit accessaries. You can get away with some fruit as long as you follow it with some hard veg like carrots. If you don't the screen gets blocked and you need to dismantle it (A real hassle). The Breville does fruit really well and hard veg pretty well the pulp is wetter than the Greenstar though. The Breville is bad at leaves and veg such as broccoli getting very little juice out. It is fast and easier to clean overall. I would choose the Greenstar as I mainly eat or smoothie my fruit. Galileo Re: Green Star

Date: November 04, 2006 09:54PM Hi
I personally like the omega 8003/8005 for juicing greens. Why? its easier to clean. The green star does juice greens well, but the cleaning can be a bit cumbersome. If you think its a pain to juice, you will not juice as often. The green star does juice things like carrots more effectively than the omega 8003. The omega 8003/8005 does juice wheatgrass MORE effectively than the Green Star. It all comes down to which machine will best fit your needs and what you want juice, and how dedicated you are.
