Date: June 23, 2007 01:06AM Here's a picture of the Fasting Buddha I just received today. I bought him from an Art Dealer in Thailand. He's a reminder to me, not necessarily to Fast, but to stay True to what I know to do. I've placed him in a most treasured spot, among my Wheatgrass......WY
P.S. Something like this may help you too. [img.photobucket.com] Re: My new Fasting Buddha

Date: July 02, 2007 02:08PM When I look at my Fasting Buddha, it gives me a feeling of Compassion and Understanding. Someone told me, when first seeing him, they felt like covering him with a blanket....a feeling like that. I tend to look at other people with a better feeling now, and especially myself. We're all in the same 'Boat' with our Torments and Struggles. Find Happiness wherever you can. I've always believed that Diet, or lack thereof, is the Answer......WY Re: My new Fasting Buddha

although it it not quite that simple ...it is enough to start. sincerely ask GOD to help you. reminder ? .....brave new world? .... a word to the wise is sufficient. jj Re: My new Fasting Buddha

Someone else mentioned covering him with a blanket. A feeling of Compassion? May we project that feeling to all we meet.......WY Re: My new Fasting Buddha
