E3LIVE GOT A BUZZ BUT ALSO TONS OF QUESTIONS... ALL INPUT IS APPRECIATED
Posted by: la_veronique ()

a couple gave me their E3LIVE cuz they couldn't "take it anymore"

well, i heard good stuff about it before esp. from Mark (... darn! i forget the rest of his name... but he used to post here QUITE a bit... )

or to say

and he took E3 live but this couple couldn't handle the taste of it anymore

so they had only taken like one spoonful each and i guess they convinced each other that it wasn't for them

well, lucky for me, i ran into them at the store

well, they gave me the rest of their E3 live ( how lucky can i get?)

so its supposed to be this "aphanizomenon flos aquae" organic liquid algae

okay, here is what it says on the bottle

" over 64 vitamins and ... naturallly chelated inerals.. enzyme active -97% usable by the body"

okay well i have a lot of questions

for some reason i don't want to go to the advertiser's website cuz i know it will probably be biased.. that's cool and all.. i'm sure its a decent product but i also want to get other opinions before i read all this googled stuff ( i don't like googling much these days )

#1 it says its processed from klamath lake

well, uh.. what do they do to get impurities out of the lake?
like heavy metals etc.

what is the process used?
what method do they use to find the impurities and percentage?

#2) it says that the refrigerated life is 7-10 days

well... that being said , the couple said i should freeze it in order to store it for longer shelf life cuz if i wanted to purchase some they said it was really expensive.. and to be honest, i don't think i could finish the bottle in under a week.. its prettys strong stuff

well... i only froze my green juice once and made a little ice cube popsicle out of them but not sure if freezing stuff then defrosting is my thang ... hmmm...

#3)

it really DOES give me an INSTANT buzz

i mean, it is SO noticeable and obvious... IMMEDIATELY

like i can just take one tiny droplet of it and i can feel the effects

howeverrrrr..... i don't like the taste

AT ALL

but i really don't care

the reason why i didn't like wheatgrass wuz cuz of the taste .. it was kinda like whoaaahhhh... and someone posted here a while ago about how wheatgrass if not properly harvested can breed mold etc... so i am just wondering if this algae thing is mold free

cuz i don't want to get a buzz due to mold and my body trying to reconfigure to it etc.

okay.. other than that.. i think i really dig this product

cuz.. well, it is supposed to have gobs more chlorophyll than wheatgrass

i heard it was like 400% more.. i could be wrong... but something in that ball park
\

so that was appealing to me

and just a tiny bit seems to do it for me

so.. yeah...

plus the BEST thing

was that i got it for

FREE ( heh heh.. i think i like this aspect the best)

but if i wanna get more.. i really wanna know the ins and outs of it

i just want it to be all PROS and no CONS

but if i am going to do it long term, i wanna know the CONS too

or just other people's opinions reactions etc.

so.... yeah.. let me know

hey Wheatgrass yogi and juicin john

have u tried these?

has anyone else?

whaddya all know about it?

in the meanwhile.. i may spike it with some apple juice cuz... well, yeah.. hmmm... its got an aura about it

and apples seem to be in order LOLsmiling smiley

LOL. La_V.....You're the Life-of-the-Party. You should Post here more often. JJ and I just don't have it.
You can eat freeze-dried Pond Scum for a while, if you want to, but think of the Big Picture of what you want day-after-day from now on. Green Algae won't be on the Menu. Possibly Wheatgrass Juice might not be, either......WY

I'm searching around my yard to see if there's any horrible tasting stinky green stuff I can sell for $25 a bottle.

*sigh*

I just ordered 5 more bottles of E3Live.

I even put it in the dogfood that I make.

www.e3live.com

Why not start by hearing what the makers are saying about a product they are proud of and stand behind. I have ordered before and had excellent customer service and was met by much knowledge.

ive read the site before zspencer ..which was what launched my searching to find if there were any toxic/toxins/sideeffects to the product .. which lead me to a huge amount of PDF's studies posted on the ag waste run off polluting the lake

wheni emailed them back then with some of the same questions LaV mentioned they did the same thing ..they ddidnt answer anythign and just pointed me to the site ..

which is not enough info for me personally smiling smiley

okay zspencer

thanks for the web site link

it is appreciated

i did read just about everything on the site

and liked most of what read

however, they were VERY vague about the filtration process itself

my question is

1) Do they filter the WATER itself ? and when do they filter it?

HOW do they filter it?

in other words, whatever gets INTO the algae is INSIDE the cells

HOW do they filter the algae?

u can't... its impossible

u have to filter the WATER itself and have the water PURE

BEFORE BEFORE BEFORE BEFORE BEFORE

algae is grown on it

not AFTER

i would imagine... does this make sense?

its easy to filter liquid... by running it through those 2 or 3 ? micron filters

but i don't see how they can filter a solid

if so... what are the methods?

okay.. well, like i said i LOVED what the algae has

actually it says that the CHLOROPHYLL content of wheatgrass is 55 mg ( per gram)

but the E3 Live has 300 mg ( per gram).. so that is like what.. 500% more?

so that right there is exciting to me

okay.. so i tried to call their toll free number but no answer just a weird recording

will try again another time just to ask about their filtration process

now.. i must do what jgunn says and look up the OTHER side of the story

whether it is hearsay or not, i am at least going to read what others have to say

then i will make up my mind

i am also thinking... of getting it sent to a lab just to see what is inside of it... any suggestions? like which lab should i send it to?

which labs do heavy metal testing for a not so expensive price?

anyone knows?

my other idea was to test the contents in my hair before E3 Live and after taking the entire bottle of E3live

and see if there is any build up of heavy metals in my hair

and if so, then i will just not use E3live and then just chelate and flush out all metals with cilantro juice to the max LOLsmiling smiley

from my personal experience, getting information that challenges assumptions about a company's product is NOT easy

i've done it many many MANY times

not just on products but on other things

and i have been met with a PLETHORA of responses

1) enthusiasm
2) out right resistance

etc etc.. it runs the gamut

so i kind of know this

so i won't be expecting any easy answers handed to me on a plate

that is why i thought i would START here

well jgunn

i did what u suggested and ran a search on "toxic" then "klamath lake"

there were 10 pages and 93,800 sites

i only read a few

i am not going to rule out the possibility however that E3Live could be an excellent product without

trying to discern the intent, knowledge level, and bias of the ones who wrote the article

its like i know some people write articles on how

BAAAAAAAD raw foods are and list all this stuff about how poisonous raw foods are due to higher potential for growth of microorganisms etc etc

without telling the other side of the story

so i am keeping that in mind

wow...93 800 articles are a lot

will probably just read one or two from each page that i feel is the least biased

( if that is possible LOLsmiling smiley

hey inspirit

i read both those articles

i appreciate it

regarding the first article in pubmed

i don't know who the scientists are affiliated with

for example: do they have any liaisons or are funded by pharmaceuticals ?

if so, it would be VERY easy to just 'slant" their views

because a product with THIS much nutrients/chlorophyll etc.

had great possibilities and could be a huge threat to those industries

i don't know... just something i always keep in mind having read enough biased articles

but they could also have a good point as well

there is still a big question mark irregardless ( hey.. i LIKE that word.. cuz its like the same as regardless... what a hoot!)

i am however going to do more research on it to get the complete story

u know how much i just LOVEEEEEE CHLOROPHYLLLL!! ( my little fetish tongue sticking out smiley

so i'm going to be putting in a bit of extra effort here

to find out what is going on

i will still try to contact klamath lake

and i will try to find a way also to get this product "tested"

500% more chlorophyll than wheatgrass

is kind of gold right there

hey... maybe by the end of this arduous process

i'll find a way to grow this stuff on my own

in little petri nutrient dishes LOL under "optimal" conditions

let's keep this thread running

E3LIVE seems to be an incredible product if the filtration process is exquisite enough to get rid of the toxins

this is key

i'm going to leave this open ended
