la veronique

hi.

somehow i have been very busy lately.

trios are ok but i love staying home way much better!

ah the turnips...they grow like weeds.. the easiest plant a person can ever grown.

they come up in the spring and the shoots are like asperagus before they flower and produce seeds.

the seeeds can be gathered and dried and then broadcast to grow more turnips than you would ever imagine.

most of the turnips are greens and the turnip par is quite small but some of them produce radishlike bulb which are really good in salads. instead of grating them i cut them into bitesized pieces.

there are two kindsw of turnips yoiu can grow. one is for greens and the other is for greens and the radishlike root.

i am going to see if i can mix apple in to make them taste better. they are very pungent. perhaps they are a good cleanseing herb. i will experiment.

jody

"pungentsy" i dig that word !! PUNGENTSSEEEE see?

hey JJ

thanks for totalling drawing me into your turnip deluxe garden world

i was totally enrapt reading about how the seeds are broadcast and

the ones for leaves and ones for shoots

wowwwwzerssmiling smiley

thanks.. u said they were EASY to grow, huh?

yeah, i like things that are not too difficult ( heh heh)

i just threw some xeriscape seeds in a public place

i know that they would meld well

they had sprinkler systems there

and i am goign to check up on that place

to see if they "accidentally" grew some of the stuff i sneaked in

planted a lot of seeds.. about 60 different type of flowers

i hope they grow

would be nice if they did
