Best/Favorite Apples for Juicing

Date: January 05, 2008 03:14PM A while ago I made the best apple juice with my juicer. It was so good I couldn't believe it. I have no idea what kind of apples I used. I suppose it will probably also depend on the time of year of harvest too.
What kinds of apples do you like to use for juicing? Is there some other fruit (maybe a pear) that when added in a very small amount adds something great to apple juice? Any info would be helpful. Thank you. Patty Re: Best/Favorite Apples for Juicing

3 oranges 1 apple 1 banana Touch of Frontier brand vanilla flavoring for an extra treat. The banana part will come out differently depending on what type of juicer you have - I have a Juiceman Jr. -Angie Re: Best/Favorite Apples for Juicing
