Date: January 21, 2008 12:41PM I'm just getting in to juicing and I can't afford nor do I have the room for a Green Star or Champion juicer. I'm wondering what the next best juicer is for greens as well as other fruits and veggies? Re: Best juicer for greens

the 8003 is a handcrank with a motor. forget the champion... you will waste valuable money on poor yield from a champion....(really) jj Re: Best juicer for greens

Date: January 26, 2008 07:33PM The best way I've found to juice greens is to blend them into a smoothie like texture and then squeeze the juice out through a fine-mesh nylon sack. If you google for the Juice Feasting website they have a section that shows how it is done.
I can blend up an entire Vitamix pitcher of greens along with some other veggies and a couple of apples or carrots and, after squeezing it through the sack I'm only left with a tennis ball sized lump of pulp. I've always hated the juice yield I got from other juicing methods but this is much better and pretty easy to do once you get the hang of it. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
