for example: a person imagines they are this or that they are that, or that they actually posess this or have command of that .... but in actuality they are not what they think they are or in posession of what they think they are in possession of ...therefore what they think and what is the reality of it ....actually contradict each other. if that is not a contradiction what would you call it? jj Re: Sell me a used Vitamix?

Hmmm...i disagree with both statements actually...a person is always exactly what they "think" they are and it will always be true. We create our reality with our thoughts...what this looks like to someone external to who we think we are is irrelevant in my opinion. What matters is what we think of ourselves. Our reality is what it is based on our predominant thoughts that always manifest the reality that we are experiencing. Period.

The Tamper was designed to use with the Top on but the Plug out. It'll never reach the blades that way. Date: February 18, 2008 12:14AM I know Wy - I totally just blew it. I was getting so frustrated, and obviously NOT thinking at the moment, took the top off, shoved the tamper in and realized that the problem in itself was just not enough water in my concoction. I ended up sawing off the end of the tamper, probably dulling my blades, and realizing the hard way that I was making smoothies incorrectly.... Not only that, but my kitchen cabinets were covered in green smoothie. Couldn't you have given me that tip BEFORE the blond moment!?!?  Re: Sell me a used Vitamix?

Suvine, I was going to purchase a used Vitamix myself, but I've decided to purchase a new one directly from Vitamix corp later this year. My super Osterizer Beehive is kicking butt and is doing a really good job in the meantime. I changed my mind because I want to make sure I have the warranty. You can make installment payments with Vitamix...did you know this? When you've made your last payment Vitamix ships your blender. Also check out the Home & Garden Shows in your town or city. Vitamix is usually there and they generally offer substantial discounts and deals on new products. Just some alternate suggestions...good luck either way. Edited 1 time(s). You'd be much better off to go through a reputable Dealer and buy a new Vita-Mix, and not try to buy a used one from one of us. Don't let a little money be a factor......WY Re: Sell me a used Vitamix?
