Date: February 21, 2008 10:10PM I am on this ongoing struggle (as are many others i've been reading about) to find the "right" blender. I know i'll end up getting a Vita Mix (Vita Prep 3).. especially after reading all of Bruces wonderful pieces of helpful info.
But my question is this.. Has anyone here purchased a refurbished Vita Prep from the company? And if so, do you think it's ok/worth it? Thank you Maui Girl Re: Buying a refurbished Vita Prep 3.. good idea?

Date: February 22, 2008 12:03AM The Vita-Mix Corporation doesn't sell refurbished Vita-Prep 3s. In fact, they don't sell new VP3s to the General Public. You have to buy from another source. I bought mine on eBay, but I think EverythingKitchens.com sells them as well. There's only one VP3....it's Model 1005. Don't accept a substitute......WY Re: Buying a refurbished Vita Prep 3.. good idea?
