Are pinenuts and Brazil nuts raw?

In many books the authors do not advocate soaking pinenuts. Why do all the other nuts need to be soaked to neutralize enzyme inhibitors, but pinenuts do not?

thank you.

Pine nuts are too soft to soak. They get too soggy. Pine nuts are generally raw that I know of. To me they taste the same as when I pulled them out of a pine cone. Brazil nuts generally have to be dried and may not be completely raw depending on drying temp.
