i have an avocado miso soup recipe that i would love to try, but locally i cant find it anywhere....do some of you make yours?

any ideas would be great!

(i live in northwest indiana so there's not a whole lot around. if some of you ferment yours let me know how to do it..i make kombucha so i'm familiar with fermentation)

thanks!

Hello, I use South River miso. It's organic, traditionally wood-fired and unpasteurized. I usually buy their Azuki bean or Chickpea flavors at my local health food store but I know it comes in about three or four other flavors. I then chop some nori and scallions up and let it warm on the stove just to fingers touch. You should be able to find it online, though I don't have a website to purchase it from off hand. Here is their website SouthRivermiso.com Hope this helps!

I do too, and I feel really lucky that it is made 20 miles from me.
