Date: April 27, 2009 12:46PM Do you have a dehydrator? I don't so most of the recipes for chips don't work for me. :-(
Anyway... [tinyurl.com] Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 04/27/2009 12:52PM by Lee_123. Re: can anyone help with my chip craving??

Date: April 27, 2009 09:51PM i experimented and made delicious corn chips!
in the food processor: 3 ears fresh corn cut from the cob 2 teaspoons flaxmeal 3 slices jalepeno pepper dash of salt pour mixture onto a teflex sheet and dehydrate overnight. then turn it onto the mesh and dehydrate until pliable, then cut into chips and dry until desired crispness. these are sooo good. tonight i'm going to make a raw taco with some of the chip mixture i didn't dehydrate all the way. it's chewy and still pliable. if fact, i'm off to the store to buy more corn. this recipe made enough for one teflex sheet. this time i'm making 4! these chips are better than the ones i thought i was craving! vegandiva- hmmm avocado rolled in sesame seeds...good idea! Date: April 28, 2009 01:45PM Okee Dokeey Marsh here it is:
Cheezy Kale Chips 1 bunch Kale washed, large stems (I call them spines) removed and torn into bit sized pieces 1 c. cashews (soaked 2 hours) 1 red bell pepper, seeded and chopped juice of a lemon 1 tbs. nutritional yeast 2 tsp. agave (opt.) 1/2 tsp himalayan sea salt Put ingredients in blender and blend until smooth. Put the kale peices into a large bowl and pour the cheezy mix on top. Mix with your hands (this is the fun part!) until all the pieces are coated. Spread onto dehydrator sheets (i'm a bit meticulous and seperate them all nicely) and dehydrate at 110 for 8 hrs or so until crunchy. This is a really easy recipe. I hope you'll make them!
